Andrew Curtis was born in Albany, Georgia. His love for animals and nature led him to the field of veterinary medicine. Andrew received degrees in Animal Health and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia and practices small animal surgery in Tifton, GA. He lives on the banks of the Alapaha River with his wife and two young sons and enjoys fishing, hunting, exploring nature, reading, writing, and coaching. Andrew believes that Jesus Christ is Lord & Savior.

Andrew has been inspired by both of his grandfathers’ military services in WWII and feels indebted to their sacrifices.
Special dedication to 1st Lt. Harry Blackstone Colborn who gave his life fighting beside Andrew’s grandfather.
